Abstract

The portable altar in the form of a triptych stored in the sacristy of the St. Clement's Church is a work combined with elements from different periods. The paintings were created around 1600, while the chest in which they were placed was made in the 19th century. The depictions are characterised by very high artistic quality. The way the scenes are composed, the shape of the figures, attire and arrangement of the background, indicate that this is a late renaissance work.
