Abstract

The painting presenting Saint Vincent Ferrer as the Angel of the Apocalypse was probably funded by then parish priest, Zygmunt Golian in the 1880s. The saint was presented in a typical iconographic convention and in accordance with the 19th century tendency to idealise and simplify the form.
