Statue of St. Valentine was created in the 17th century. Probably it was a sculptural decoration of one of the old altars in the church. Saint Valentine was a bishop and a martyr. In iconography, he is usually depicted wearing a priest attire, alb with a chasuble. With regard to the statue being discussed, a bishop's dignity is visible by mitre on his head and probably a pastoral staff which was held by the saint in his right hand.
