The statue of Christ Crucified was most probably created in the second half of the 17th century and it was presented in the Cristo morte type - therefore the deceased Christ, after he died on the cross. It is a representation of Jesus who suffers, but at the same time - victorious. The skull at his feet refers to tradition according to which the tomb of Adam - the first father was to be found in the place where the cross was erected.
