Abstract

The stained glass with Saint Stanislaus Kostka, designed by Kazimierz Puchała, was made in the workshop of Maksymilian Romańczyk in 1938. It depicts an angel giving Holy Communion to Saint Stanislaus. Saint Stanislaus Kostka is the patron of Poland and young people. On the stained glass window he was depicted in the classic iconographic convention, i.e. as a young man in Jesuit robes and with a characteristic attribute – branches of white lilies.
