The high altar was purchased in Tyrol in 1912-1913 from the sculptor Ferdinand Prinoth. It was made in an eclectic style. Although the reredos in the church in Jabłonka is characterised by neo-gothic forms in the lower part and in ornamental decoration, it also represents a variant of the altar close to the tradition of the neo-baroque frame reredos with a central area shaped as triumphal arch. Such elements appeared in the neo-Roman altars in the era of late historicism.
