The painting depicting the moment of death of Saint Sebastian was painted between 1770 and 1772 by the painter Imrich Jagušič who was active in Spišská Sobota. The saint was shown among the torturers, but with a nimbus around his head and at the moment of giving him the attributes of martyrdom.
