The statue of St. Nicholas was created in the 17th century. Probably it was a sculptural decoration of one of the old altars in the church. St. Nicholas, was the Bishop of Mira, thus, he is presented in attire in accordance with this dignity. Three balls on the book, which were probably supported by the right hand of the statue of St. Nicholas being discussed refers to a legend of saving three daughters of a burgher from harlotry by giving them gold balls as a dowry.
