The painting of St. Francis with Christ and Mary was most likely created in the fourth quarter of the 19th century or in the first quarter of the 20th century. It was re-installed in the finial of the side altar. The scene of visions of Jesus and Mary are not the well-known presentations from the iconography of the saint and it is not based in the history of his life.
