Abstract

A statuette of St. Florian was created in the 19th century and is the work of a provincial artist. Most likely, during the renovation of the temple and its furnishings in 1902-1910, it was re-placed on the entablature of the altar of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. In Poland, St. Florian is worshiped as a patron protecting against fire, due to the miraculous saving of his temple during the fire in Kleparz in 1528.
