The 19th century altar is composed of two eighteenth-century structures. Despite its subsequent refurbishment, the altar is an example of characteristic baroque altar reredoses featuring a simple, one-story, single-axial form contained by lateral, acanthus ears. It is certain that the cherubs supporting the cartouche were created in the 19th century, presumably when the reredoses was constructed. Unfortunately, the author or the original provenance of the altar remain unknown.
