The baptismal font was made in the 18th century. A tin cover was added on top of it in the 20th century. It belongs to the typical works representing this branch of artistic craft. It was made according to baroque tradition. The decoration, known as chasing, placed on the bowl of the baptismal font, was characteristic especially of the art in the 16th and 17th centuries, but it also appeared in later periods, as can be seen on the example of the work in question.
