The altar in the side chapel was made in the classical style in the first half of the 19th century. Unfortunately, archival sources do not reveal the creator of this reredos. The altar's iconography is dedicated to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. The inscription on the altar: "ALTARE PRIVIL" is an abbreviation of the Latin words "Altare Privilegiatum", meaning that it is a privileged altar at which a full indulgence can be obtained for the soul in Purgatory while celebrating the mass (in 1967, Pope Paul VI abolished the full indulgence using the so-called privileged altars).
