The sculpture featuring a characteristically S-shaped silhouette, very curly hair and voluminously draped garments was created in the second half of the 18th century and bears the characteristic features of the Rococo. St. Joachim was presented in a traditional iconographic convention, as a senile, bearded man in a long garment and a coat.
