Abstract
The processional crucifix with the figure of the Christ Crucified was created in the first half of the 18th century. It presents Christ as alive (Cristo vivo), with his head raised and his eyes open. This type illustrates the emotional moment when the Saviour spoke his last words before dying on the cross.
