Abstract
The sculpture represents a work of good artistic quality, created in the third quarter of the 18th century. Unfortunately, archival sources do not reveal its author. The sculptures depicting Christ and an angel represent an iconographic motif referring to the words of St. Matthew, announcing that during the Doomsday, "the sign of the Son of Man (...) will appear" in the sky (Mt 24:30).
