Abstract
The portable altar with the painting of Madonna and Saints was most probably created in the second half of the 19th century or the first half of the 20th century. It served as an object for private devotion and probably belonged to the furnishings of a private flat, perhaps one of the priests or rectors of the church of St. Sebastian in Wieliczka, as evidenced by the statue of this saint in its altar finial.
