The painting "Madonna and the Child," locally called Madonna of Sucha Beskidzka, was perhaps created along with the altar (to which it was intended in the second half of the 18th century) from which it was transferred to a new church. It is based on the pattern of Madonna of Częstochowa and is a Byzantine travesty in origin of the Hodegetria type.
