Abstract

The high altar in the church in Osielec was built by Andrzej Czesacz of Weksmund in 1840. Its structure is based on models developed in modern art. The reredos is resting on a tall pedestal, with a main area of the altar flanked by supports, and with a radiant aureole crowning the structure. The main area of the altar features a painting of Our Lady of the Rosary, and there are statues of St. Peter and St. Paul on the sides.
