Abstract

Statues of the Christ Crucified, St. Elisabeth and St. Catherine, that were located formerly on a rood beam, originate from different time periods. The 18th-century sculpture of Christ, shown in a subtle pose, refers to the feelings of the faithful, while the sculptures of holy women are an example of the poor quality of 19th-century wood carving.
