Abstract

Saint Valentine was painted by an unknown artist in the 18th century, and originally it may have been in a different side altar, which is indicated by a slightly different shape of the work than the frame in the finial of the altar. Saint Valentine is the patron of patients with epilepsy, plague, gout and nervous diseases, marriages, lovers and the Przemyśl diocese.
