Painting was created around 1779. Unfortunately, archival sources do not reveal the author of the work. It depicts St. Thecla, St. Paul's disciple, who was sentenced to death twice and miraculously saved her own life. The painting was placed originally in a different reredos, as evidenced by archival sources and a cut part of the composition, not adapted to the dimensions of the altar final.
