The painting was painted in the 18th century by an unknown artist. It presents Saint Stanislaus Kostka, patron of Poland and youth, who lived in the years 1550-1568. In the painting, he is shown in the classic iconographic convention, i.e. as a young man in Jesuit robes and with a characteristic attribute – branches of white lilies symbolising chastity.
