Abstract

The statue of St. Nicholas was created together with the rococo furnishings of the church in 1779. It was built by Antoni and Ignacy Kornecki - brothers who cooperated with each other. St. Nicholas, was the Bishop of Mira, thus, he is presented in attire in accordance with this dignity. The characters and items accompanying the saint refer to the many miracles and legends associated with his life.
