Abstract
The authorship of the 20th-century statue of Saint John the Baptist, which is one of the four sculptures of the same origin in the church, is unknown. It is worth paying attention to the holy lamb lying at his foot, which is a reference to the words spoken by Saint John referring to Christ: "Here is the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world" (Jn 1:29).
