Furnishings of the church in Igołomia, thus 3 altars and sculptures, including the sculpture of St. Joachim in question, were created in 1766 on the initiative of the then parish priest Andrzej Dominik Lipiewicz. In iconography, St. Joachim is often presented with his wife - St. Anne. He is showed as an old man.
