The sculpture of Saint Hyacinth of Poland was created in 1853 for the newly built altar of Our Lady of the Snows. The holy founder of the Dominican monastery in Cracow was a preacher and was presented in a conventional way with a can and a statue of the Virgin Mary, which are a reference to the events of his life.
