Abstract
The painting of Saint Anthony of Padua was painted by an unknown artist in the 18th century and originally it may have been in a different side altar, which is indicated by a slightly different shape of the work than the frame in the finial of the altar. Saint Anthony was shown with Baby Jesus in his arms, which according to legend was to appear to him to assure him of God's love.
