The sculpture of St. Barbara and the remaining sculptural decoration of the high altar in Orawka, were created around 1693-1705. The statue represents St. Barbara - a virgin, martyr, patroness of good death, miners, rafters and artillerymen - who belonged to the group of Fourteen Holy Helpers.
