The 19th-century painting with the representation of Our Lady of the Rosary and the Child handing over the rosaries to the founder of the Dominican Order – Saint Dominic, and the most revered Dominican saint – Saint Catherine of Siena – is based on the image from the Santa Sabina church in Rome, which became popular in Poland in the 17th century.
