The painting was probably created in the fourth quarter of 19th century or in the first quarter of the 20th century. It was re-mounted to the sliding panel of the side altar in Stryszów. The image of Madonna and the Child with Dominican saints - St. Dominic and St. Catherine of Siena, was to combine the most important, both male and female, representatives of the Dominican Order, as well as to put together the founder of the order and the most revered saint with the cult of the Rosary.
