One of the monuments most probably being a part of the original decoration of the temple in Gruszów is a crucifix dated to the first quarter of the 16th century. The set of stylistic features of the sculpture allows it to be included in the group of works of the workshop of Master of the Crucifix from the Corpus Christi Church in Cracow, whose activity was probably associated primarily with the furnishing of provincial churches in Małopolska.
