Abstract
The author of the work and the exact date of its creation remain unknown. The painting might have been made at a similar time as the main reredos in the church in Harklowa, that is in the 18th century. It depicts the Coronation of Mary by the Holy Trinity. This iconographic theme appeared in art in the late 14th century. In modern art, the expansion of the celestial zone of the representation was particularly characteristic by showing large cloud portions and winged angel heads.
