A free-standing chapel in Mętkowo was built by highlanders from Spiš between 1972 and 1974. The chapel is a square building. It is bricked to the half of its height and then wooden, topped with a tented roof with a lantern. It is modelled on a similar building in Niegowić. After moving the church from this village, as it had no tower, it was decided to build a free-standing bell tower repeating the form of the bell tower in Niegowić. Its lower tier constitutes a chapel while in the upper tier bells were hung.
