Abstract
The bas-relief of Madonna and the Child was made in Florence by Polish sculptor Teofil Lenartowicz in 1876. The intimate scene was surrounded by carved miniatures with scenes from Mary's life. The frames were made in 1881-1885. The work is a gift from countess Helena Małachowska.
