Abstract
A painting with the representation of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary was created at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries. It depicts the moment of the visit of St. Elisabeth by Mary. The scene takes place in front of Elisabeth's house, and the women are accompanied by their husbands – St. Zechariah and St. Joseph. The painting has a warm colour scheme with a predominance of browns.
