The painting of the Holy Trinity was funded after 1550 by Anna Jordanowa of the Sieniawscy family. Before 1569 the funder's family was painted at the bottom of the painting. The painting depicts the Holy Trinity in the iconographic style, called the Throne of Grace (thronus gratiae). This depiction indicates the salvific nature of Christ's sacrifice through which God reconciled the world in the Holy Spirit. At the bottom of the painting, the funder's family is shown; she is depicted with her husband, Spytek Wawrzyniec Jordan, their five daughters and their three grandchildren.
