Abstract

The painting was created in 1824 and comes from a side altar, dismantled after 1952. However, this is not the first image of this saint in the Poręba temple. It is known from the visitation documents (1746) that one of the side altars was under this invocation. In a new church, built in 1762, there was still an altar dedicated to St. Valentine.
