Both statues of bishops – St. Stanislaus and St. Adalbert – were built before 1765. Most likely, they were originally located in the side altar of St. Stanislaus and re-placed in the high altar during the renovation of the temple in 1841-1843. Until now, the statue has been identified as St. Stanislaus of Szczepanów, because this saint is most often depicted in the company of St. Adalbert, however, this sculpture does not have attributes that allow for such a clear specification.
