The statue of St. Peter was created probably in the second half of the 18th century by an anonymous helper of Antoni Gegenbaur. Peter was the brother of St. Andrew, a fisherman, who joined Christ and became his apostle. Jesus changed his name (Simon) into Peter. In iconography, one of his attributes are keys.
