Architectural and sculptural furnishings of the church, including the statue of St. Joachim, were created after 1765, most probably in the workshop of the Kornecki family of Gdów. Saint Joachim is usually depicted in art together with his wife – St. Anne. He is portrayed as a mature man, since only in old age he obtained grace from God and he became a father (of Mary). His attribute is often a shepherd's staff.
