It is highly unlikely that the figure, presenting St. Hyacinth, was made in 1863 by a local craftsman - Jędrzej Sikora (?), who, together with his brother, was responsible for part of the furnishings of the church in Ponikwia. It shows a higher level of performance than its attributed sculptures decorating other altars.
