Abstract
The representation placed on the high altar's sliding panel in Krzęcin was painted in 1882 and covers the miraculous image of the Madonna and the Child. The work shows Saint Florian in antique armour, against the background of a burning city. The signature indicates that the author of the painting is a painter by name, which one can try to read as Gałkiewicz.
