The painting, which author is unidentified, was painted in 17th century. It was placed originally on a sliding panel in the altar of Saint Nicholas in the side chapel of the church. At present, it is hung separately. Saint Anthony is portrayed in the traditional iconographic type as a young conventual in a Franciscan habit, together with Baby Jesus. The attributes surrounding him indicate his piety and chastity.
