The painting of St. Adalbert was created around 1800 and was intended for the altar of St. Adalbert, funded by Wojciech Supergan. After 1912 it was moved to a new church in Jordanów. In 983 Saint Adalbert received episcopal consecration and later he became the Bishop of Prague. Adalbert went to Prussia on a mission to convert pagans, where he died a martyr's death. As he sailed there by boat across the Vistula river, an oar became his attribute.
