Abstract
The altar of Our Lady of Lourdes is a perfect example of secondary trading of sacred art works with unique background. In 1796, the altar from the St. Norbert's Church in Kraków, which is no longer included in the Roman Catholic church structure, was bought. The altar is adorned by new sculptures, including the statue of Our Lady of Lourdes ordered in 1895 in the workshop owned by Kazimierz Mieczysław Chodziński in Kraków, a foundation of father Szewczyk. From the original decor, statuettes of angels located in the altar finial have been preserved.
