Abstract

The side altar was probably made in a Tyrolean workshop in the first quarter of the 20th century. In the middle of the altar there is a painting of Our Lady of Perpetual Help brought from the church in Trzciana, and previously brought from Rome as a copy of the miraculous painting from the Roman Church of Saint Alphonsus. On the sides of the altar, there are sculptures of Polish saints: Saint Hyacinth and Saint Casimir the Prince, and in the altar finial one can see the painting of Saint Joseph with the Child. The side axes were reworked by two carpenters from Jabłonka: Czesław Kojs and Ignacy Suwada, who made them in the form of octagonal, openwork tempiettos.
