Abstract
One of the side altars in the parish church in Kęty contains the image of Madonna of Częstochowa, which is a testimony to the intensively developing cult of the Virgin Mary since the 1950s. The structure of the altar, made in the second half of the 20th century, is an example of inspiration derived from forms of the eighteenth-century reredoses.
