Abstract

The side altar was probably made in a Tyrolean workshop in the first quarter of the 20th century. In the centre of the altar there is a sculpture of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. On the sides of the altar one can see sculptures of the patrons of Poland: Saint Stanislaus and Saint Adalbert, and in the finial there is the picture of Saint Andrew Bobola. The side axes were reworked by two carpenters from Jabłonka: Czesław Kojs and Ignacy Suwada, who made them in the form of octagonal, openwork tempiettos.
