The statue of the Risen Christ was made by Antoni Kornecki in 1781 – a sculptor and a painter, coming from a family with multi-generational artistic tradition. It shows the Triumphant Christ after he rose from the grave. The red robe indicates his martyrdom and the flag is a symbol of victory over death.
